Most orders for in-stock items will ship within 24 - 48 hours after receipt of order/payment. This does not apply to our Promotional Business Gifts & truffles. You will be notified via email of shipment date on such items at time your order is placed. All orders being paid for by personal check will be shipped upon clearance of your check. To ensure that you receive the freshest products, any orders which include food products that are received after 11:00am EST on a Wednesday will not be shipped until the following Monday. This is to make sure that your order does not spend a whole weekend stored in a UPS warehouse exposed to extreme temperatures. However, if placing an order on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday that you wish to be delivered by the weekend please choose Next Day or 2nd Day or Saturday delivery. Please note this method of shipping will result in additional shipping charges according to UPS rates. You may also wish to choose OVERNIGHT EXPRESS via the USPS, which does deliver on Saturday without resulting in additional Saturday delivery shipping charges.
Please allow extra time for all Custombusiness promotional pens orders or Personalized Gift items. You will be notified via email upon receipt of your order with an approximate shipping date for all custom or personalized gift purchases. We strive for a 1-week turn around time for custom or personalized gift items except those items custom made for A Bountiful Harvest in Bath, England. Please allow approximately 2 - 4 weeks for arrival of those items and keep this in consideration when deciding what shipping rate you wish to pay. Custom creations handcrafted in England will ship direct to you or your recipient.
Because most of our items are handcrafted and homemade on occasion we may run out of stock; however, if an item you order is temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of the estimated arrival & shipping date. Most out-of-stock items normally ship in 3 - 7 business days. A Bountiful Harvest reserves the right to substitute products of equal or greater value in our gift baskets based on season and availability if necessary. During the months of May - October we reserve the right to replace chocolate items with items of equal or greater value when overnight or 2 day delivery is not chosen by customer. Some products such as chocolates, Cheese, Sausage, etc are extremely heat sensitive; therefore, we suggest overnight, next day or 2nd day air. In some cases refrigerant packing is required and your card will be billed accordingly.
We are currently offering shipping through UPS & USPS. Shipping rates and delivery times will be depending on your geographical location. The shipping costs for your order will be calculated when you have selected your purchases and proceed to checkout. You will be notified by e-mail within 24 hours of the shipping confirmation and provided with a tracking number. Please note that when shipping via UPS only Next Day, 2nd Day & 3 Day Select are guaranteed delivery times. Ground shipments are approximate and are not guaranteed by either UPS or A Bountiful Harvest Designs. The same applies to shipping via the USPS Overnight Express. Priority & Parcel Post are NOT guaranteed by any set date.
When ordering last minute gift baskets or items close to or during a major holiday please choose appropriate shipping method to ensure guaranteed delivery for the holiday. Where appropriate we will upgrade the shipping to either Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air and charge the additional shipping costs to your credit card to ensure the gifts are received for the holiday and do not get spoiled by sitting in a warehouse over the holiday season.
Local Delivery
A Bountiful Harvest will deliver orders over $50 to the Downtown Chattanooga area and some select surrounding areas, i.e., Red Bank, Hixson, Middle Valley, Brainerd, East Ridge and Hamilton Place for a delivery fee of $7.50, which will be charged to your account. If you delivery address falls within these limits please choose the "LOCAL DELIVERY" option before checking out. If you need delivery outside these specified local areas we ask that you contact customer service to see if delivery arrangements can be made. We do offer scheduled deliveries to Soddy, Sale Creek, Dayton, Signal Mountain, etc.; however, please note that there will be an additional delivery fee for traveling outside our normal delivery routes. Charges vary depending upon the destination and will be billed to your credit card as a separate charge. You will be notified via telephone or e-mail of the exact amount. In some instances it may be more economical to choose UPS ground shipping as it is usually only a 1 - 2 day delivery wait anyway.
